The veggie burger from Gardein is mainly made with cooked brown rice, roasted peppers, corn, carrots, roasted onions and peas. It is a 100% plant-based burger. It also has similar texture and taste as compared to real meat products and rich nutritional value. First, soy and pea protein contains high plant-based protein and is free of cholesterol and trans fat. Besides, the roasted vegetables and brown rice also provide rich dietary fiber (3.5grams per each burger) which can help increase satiety and stimulate peristalsis which contains 3.5 grams in each burger.

Direction For Use
Keep frozen. Grill: Preheat grill to medium heat. Brush burgers with oil, grill for 4 mins, turning half way through cooking. Cover and cook for an additional 4 mins until browned throughout, brushing frequently. Microwave (1000W) : Place burger on a microwave safe plate, microwave on high for 70 seconds turn over and cook for another 70 seconds. For 2 burgers, microwave for 4 mins until hot throughout turning halfway through cooking time. Skillet : Place burgers in non-stick skillet. Cover and heat over medium heat for 4-6 mins, turning halfway through cooking time. Oven : Preheat oven to 450 °F. Put burgers on non-stick baking sheet and bake for approx 12-14 mins until browned and hot throughout, turning once half way through cooking. Tip: Do not overcook. Let stand for 1 minute. Cook until internal temperature reaches minimum of 165 °F.
